The new Beuchat Mundial freediving watch with electronic depth gauge is designed specifically for freedivers.
Features include multiple alarm modes, independent timers, and detailed information displays.
While diving, the watch displays current depth, elapsed dive time, countdown timer, temperature, alarm notifications, and the current time.
On the surface the diver can see maximum depth, numbers of dives that day, and total dive time, and use a dive interval timer.
The Mundial offers a maximum of 99 detailed dive logs per day and is a good safety and training resource.
They can be found for $399 at most dive shops and online.
Unlike just about every other product reviewed and recommended on the Hungry Walrus, I have never used or tested the Mundial, but have heard from credible sources in the dive world that they work really well.
