If you’re interested in having a good time surfing Morocco, and are over haggling and figuring out the logistics on your own, I highly recommend staying with the crew at Dfrost Surf House. There are a handful of complete package surf camps in Taghazout, and after hanging in the area a month, I found that Dfrost was one of the best for a number of reasons.
The accommodations, transportation, meals, yoga classes, and most importantly the staff, are all incredible. The crew at Dfrost ensure all of their guests are well taken care of. Safety and comfort is a priority with Dfrost. The staff takes the time to get to know you, looks out for your best interest, and are a pleasure to be around.
Everyday local surf guides head out in nice vans and 4X4’s to a few different surf spots that are best for clients ability and wave preference, so sessions are tailored for each guest.
The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, and there are many housing options to chose from for your party and budget. In the main Dfrost house at Hash Point, they offer thousands of movies to chose from on their giant screen in the lounge room, and have a nice hot tub on the deck overlooking the surf. The rest of their apartments are some of the best in the area.
If you’re interested in visiting some of the sites around Morocco, Dfrost has a crew that heads out on recommended daily cultural excursions. Dfrost also has a great live-in yoga instructor that offers a couple small classes a day on the rooftop balcony overlooking the surf.
The all you can eat meals at Dfrost are delicious. Breakfast includes something for everybody, and the dinner menu changes everyday. Dfrost also offers great restaurant recommendations in town if you feel like cruising.
I had a great time at Dfrost and highly recommend their accommodations and services to anyone who want’s a fun, easy, and complete surf trip in Morocco.
