A Typical Day In Taghazout

Taghazout is a small surf community outside of Agadir. It’s been our home base the past couple weeks, and a great central location to launch our exploratory surf missions up and down the coast. The locals are friendly, and psyched on surfing.

A typical day around here begins with coffee in the apartment, and a surf check down the street.

The waves around Taghazout are world-class, but get crowded with travelers who camp out for the winter. Once we get an idea of the surf size and wind direction in town, we head out to find empty lineups and get in the water.

After surfing, we have a big traditional Moroccan tagine lunch, get another surf session in, and watch the sunset with the locals.
