Jamie Mitchell charges huge waves, is the greatest paddler of all time, and is a really great person. Just surfed a solid swell at Teahupoo with Jamie and Mark Healey (a couple of the most talented watermen in the world), last week. Being around those guys always motivates me to push my personal limits in the ocean.
One of the worst wipeouts of my life was surfing Killers outside Todos Santos Island, Mexico, December 5th, 2007, with both those guys. Jamie and I shared that wave I went down on, but he made it. The wipeout ripped open my wetsuit and broke my 10’0 gun. Was fun to reminisce on that day with those guys while they were down here in Tahiti.
This video is a preview of Jamie’s soon to be released documentary, Decade of Dominance, chronicling his unprecedented accomplishment of 10X World Paddleboard Champion!
